Breakfast, as you may have heard, is the most important meal of the day. But serving a healthy breakfast can feel like one more challenge for parents trying to get themselves and their kids out the door on time.

Choose whole-grain tortillas or flatbread. Diane Dembicki, an associate professor of nutrition who works with Jaeger at Adelphi, suggests involving kids in decision-making and even in prep work the night before.Another make-ahead option: Fill the cups of a muffin tin with a mix of egg, veggies and meat, then bake.Use natural peanut butter or another natural spread, rather than a brand that’s high in sugar.Grains can be quickTry topping whole-grain toast or a whole-grain waffle with natural nut butter, sliced bananas or other fresh fruit on top, and perhaps a drizzle of honey.Dembicki also recommends avocado, which has healthy monounsaturated fat and is high in vitamins. “It’s not like there’s one perfect breakfast,” says Jessica Jaeger, a registered dietician at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. Kirsten Clodfelter, a mom of three from Louisville, Kentucky, does meal prep on Sundays with the help of her oldest, who is 7. If they have favourite dinner meals, make extra and pack leftovers in small containers for easy reheating the next morning. Once they’ve cooled, pop them out and freeze or refrigerate the individual egg cups. Consider a quick avocado toast on whole-grain bread, served with a hard-boiled egg and piece of fruit. A hard-boiled egg made the night before can provide extra protein. Some families pack an entire breakfast into a blender to create smoothies. Search for recipes with plenty of fruit or nuts and whole grains. The eggs will be ready to scoop into a whole wheat wrap, and breakfast is ready. “I found that starting my kids early with natural peanut butter meant they really didn’t ask for the sweeter stuff,” says Sarah Shemkus, of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Make a large batch and freeze them. Avoid the packaged frozen breakfast sandwiches and “breakfast bars” that have names that suggest nutrition but are often high in sugar and fat, Dembicki says.. If you’re running late, wrap it in wax paper and your child can eat it on the way to school. And it doesn’t have to be complicated.Or bake healthy muffins in advance.”Cold breakfast can be coolFor kids who prefer a cold breakfast, try Greek yogurt with flaxseed, granola and fresh fruit mixed in, and perhaps a bit of honey. Hard-boiled eggs also go well with this. Fresh fruit, yogurt or milk, peanut butter and even greens can go in. Let kids choose their ingredients, including fruits and nuts. And don’t forget dinner for breakfast: Not every kid likes typical American “breakfast foods,” and that’s fine, Dembicki says. By flavouring the oatmeal yourself rather than buying pre-flavoured, the sugar is kept low.

They scramble eggs with a variety of chopped add-ins (sausage with diced onion and peppers, or perhaps bacon and spinach), and then put the eggs in a tortilla with a bit of cold cheese and wrap it in foil (for reheating in the oven the next morning) or plastic wrap (for reheating in the microwave), and freeze it.Shemkus sometimes cooks quick oats in a bowl in her microwave with grated carrot and raisins, then tops it with maple syrup, cinnamon and milk: “We call it ‘carrot cake oat bowl,’ and the 3-year-old loves it.Another whole-grain option: overnight oats made in a Mason jar, or oatmeal set up the night before in a slow-cooker.Never fear.Just try to include a mix of Box type injection mold proteins, complex carbs from whole grains and healthy fats.A few strategies for planning good breakfasts on school mornings:Eggs can be easyTry make-ahead egg cups or breakfast burritos. Then quickly microwave them at breakfast time, served with a piece of fresh fruit. Clodfelter got her kids to embrace spinach in smoothies by adding it to a berry blend and calling them “Christmas smoothies,” since the green flecks of spinach were combined with red berries.

Veggies can be hidden in many muffin recipes, and are front-and-centre in recipes like carrot-raisin muffins. With a bit of planning, breakfast can be a great opportunity to get dairy, fibre, fruits and even vegetables into a child’s diet. You can cut the burrito in half for little kids. That’s especially true for kids returning to school, who need fuel for energy and learning. “This helps stabilize blood sugar and appetite,” Jaeger says. Cover with a paper towel and microwave for about 45 seconds. For easy eggs prepared in the morning, Kate Wehr, a mother of four in Montana, suggests combining some chopped veggies and perhaps meat with a well-whisked egg and a bit of butter or olive oil in a ceramic bowl. This breakfast hits the macro-nutrient goals of protein, whole grain and healthy fats, and the fruit adds vitamins.

Crossloop, an Indian brand, has set out to create a pair of earphones that have its own unique identity and these babies come with a hand-woven braided cable that’s available in a wide variety of colours.

At first glance, you may think that these buds look awfully familiar. We tried the earphones with an older iPhone as well as the new iPhone XS Max (along with a 3. These headphones are great for casual music, movies and alike. However, do mind us telling you this — since they are made from fabric, the material is bound to get stained if you are careless with spills, sweaty hands and dust. The earbuds and in-line microphone are made of high-quality ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, meaning, they can easily survive the wear and tear of regular use without getting beaten up or worn out.

While using it to answer calls, they worked as expected with enough clarity witnessed on both ends.5mm to lightening dongle) and it worked like a charm on both devices. However, Crossloops seems to have done the impossible. So, this shows that this can strike the right chord with whoever wears it and they can be sure to receive some compliments. Also, there are plenty of colour options to choose from, over 15 to be precise. The brand has brought a generic earphone and personalised it in a way that no other brand in the market has done yet.The audio performance is not the best but we do find the highs to have its sparkle in popular genres. If peak audio performance is not what you’re after, then these earphones will suit you just fine. And they cannot be washed either unless you are careful to dip only the area that is covered in fabric in soap and scrub lightly with a toothbrush. With these earphones, having this patterned appearance, they can also be worn as a bracelet. As techies, we may not be the most fashion conscious lot out there, but we tried using this as a bracelet nevertheless, and unexpectedly, we received a lot of compliments from our lady friends, and men alike.

The buds resemble the ones used on Apple’s EarPods and AirPods. So, you will most likely find your favourite colour combination here that can suit your personal taste. The Apple EarPods have the Front Bumper Assembly Factory distinctive buds and the white cable which can be identified from a mile away and then there are those headphones such as the Sony MDR-XB450 which can be easily identified because of its concentric circular design on the cans. We have seen braided cables on earphones in the past, but the combination of some stylish weaving, giving it a patterned appearance hasn’t been seen before.PerformanceThe Crossloop earphones are fitted with 14. The in-line microphone, thankfully, has an altered design with the controls being well spaced out and its overall build feeling solid.(Source).

The similarities extend to the design of the 3. However, it must be said that we don’t find the clarity in every tone of the produced frequencies as all three; the bass, midrange and highs tend to bleed into each other with no audible separation that we usually find in higher-end models. We love the originality of the overall earphone design, so we can ignore the design of the earbuds as the pros clearly outweigh the almost non-existent cons. Apart from a handful of brands, its rather difficult to identify which earphones belong to a particular company, unless of course, you possess a trained eye.Design, BuildSetting out to make a pair of earphones stand out from the crown is no easy task. They have used high-quality fabric and hand-woven the cable to give it a distinctive look. The fact that they come in a variety of colours and with a unique pattern really appealed to us.33mm dynamic drivers that aim to provide a powerful sound.Rating: In our line of work, we come across a wide assortment of headphones and earphones, all with unique traits that make them their own.

The earphones perform better than some at the same price point. These are not waterproof headphones, and we don't recommend washing them in any way, so we advise keeping them safe from water, dust, dirt and sweat that can stain them.We take a look at these uber trendy earphones and tell you whether its worth your cash. Alternatively, these can make for a nice gift to anyone and should definitely be listed on every unique gift guide as it has a wow factor that very few budget earphones possess. We are not sure of this design choice as this looks like a lazy attempt from the brand when they took so much effort to give the cable its unique style.VerdictSelling for Rs 999, the Crossloop Designer Series earphones are a great option to flaunt a unique style.5mm jack as well and make it appear unoriginal. These earphones are designed for the movers and shakers, the trendsetters, and jet-setters and best of all; they come in an affordable package. While it may not have a boomy bass, it does pack some punch in the lower end. So, when not being plugged in your ears, they can be used a great fashion accessory.

The in-line microphone features large buttons so finding the desired one is as easy as it gets. These headphones are a perfect companion for those who are into ethnic wear. This not only makes the earphone look unique, but it also aids in making the cable a lot more durable than the rubber-cabled options that flood the market. If it's not audiophile music that you seek, then these make for great casual listening and video streaming along with a style statement of your own. And you’re not wrong.

Cox’s Bazar has been battered by cyclones for three years running, having already suffered astonishing devastation in the past. Allen, head of the UNHCR refugee agency’s operations in Cox’s Bazar, told AFP.“What else can we do? If Allah does not protect us, we will die,” said 60-year-old refugee Dil Mohammad. The Rohingya are no strangers to the monsoon, he said.Aid groups say a cyclone or devastating storm could cut access to the camps for a week -- restricting food and supplies to a tent city with a population greater than San Francisco.

Cox China Box type injection mold Factory Bazar (Bangladesh): Marooned on a dusty slope in the world’s largest refugee camp, Osiur Rahman looked to the hill where a Rohingya girl was buried in a landslide just days earlier and contemplated his chances should the earth give way beneath his feet.A massive operation to shore up the camps against disaster is in overdrive, with bulldozers levelling hills and refugees bunkering down however they can.“Everybody is afraid, wondering where we’ll go if our houses are destroyed,” Rohingya imam Muhammad Yusuf told AFP. There are children everywhere around here.Mosques and community centres could shelter 150,000 people if needed, said Kazi Abdur Rahman, acting district administrator of Cox’s Bazar. Toilets are being fortified with sandbags to prevent a major disease outbreak should floodwater meet overflowing latrines..But there are limits to how much can be done. The World Food Programme’s emergency coordinator Peter Guest said thousands of porters were being assembled to carry food on foot if access roads were cut. There is a dearth of safe land to relocate the estimated 200,000 refugees in direct danger of floods and landslides, and just 21,000 have been moved so far.Bangladesh has restricted the use of sturdier materials for shelters because it may suggest the Rohingya plan to stay, contrary to Dhaka’s desire to return them to Myanmar. The first storms underscored the fragility of the camps: the brief rains turned roads into quagmires, crumbled hillsides and flooded low-lying areas. Those left homeless or starving will have nowhere to run anyway: the Rohingya are encircled by military checkpoints and prohibited from leaving. It is not possible to shift one million people,” he told AFP.“They could face yet again another emergency, this time driven by mother nature.Bangladesh has freed up hundreds of hectares (acres) but most is hilly and was prone to landslides even before the Rohingya uprooted trees for shelters and firewood.” The camps’ makeshift homes are predicted to receive more than 2.“Our families would be killed. For the 700,000 Rohingya Muslims who have fled to southeast Bangladesh in the past nine months, the approaching monsoon season poses the most serious threat since they were violently expelled from Myanmar.5 metres of rainfall over three months starting June -- roughly triple what Britain gets in a year. But as the rains approach, the young girl’s death this month in a torrent of mud and rock has heightened fears of a much greater tragedy. We constantly fear that rain could trigger a landslide,” the 53-year-old told # AFP on the steep embankment where he lives with nine family members in a bamboo shack. The Rohingya, who have fled persecution time and again, fear being on the run once more. The roof was blown clean off Noor Mohammad’s shack in a recent squall.Cyclones have killed tens of thousands along the Bangladesh coast in recent decades and countless more have been swept to their deaths in floods and landslides.“Here, there is nothing to stop the wind,” he said, gesturing to the deforested hills stretching for miles.Close to one million of the stateless Muslim minority live in the Cox’s Bazar district but the new arrivals, stranded on unstable hills in bamboo and plastic shacks, are especially vulnerable.

“But if there is a big cyclone, and all these people need relocating, there is not a system for that yet.“We could literally have lives lost as people slide down hillsides and valleys are flooded with water,” Kevin J.The huge endeavour to prevent disaster has seen slopes vulnerable to collapse flattened and extensive canal systems carved throughout the camps. But in Myanmar, villages were built to withstand its ferocity and trees provided a bulwark against the elements. He had gathered chunks of wood and rocks to weigh it down but was “scared of what could pass” when Bangladesh’s wild weather barrels through. This time, nature is on a collision course with refugees who have nowhere to run -- no higher ground and no cyclone shelters.

The Tavelagarhi team worked on water conservation and safe water storage while the Daula team worked on waste management..Using the social entrepreneurship lens, the teams worked directly with community members to create and prototype many products based on the criteria of function and desirability. One of the four students from LIC, Arushi Srivastava, who is  pursuing  development communication and extension, says, “I was working on water conservation in a village. Now we are not just using technology but also behavioural change and how the two are integrated with each other.“This was a 10 week collaborative programme. There is a lot of social stratification including class, caste, age and we are engaging everyone.”Talking about her experience Sarita Anand (Indian programme partner) Associate Professor, Department of Development Communication and Extension, Lady Irwin College says, “I think the outcome we are looking forward to is the cultural exchange, and an opportunity to understand young students from another country and looking at the kind of skill sets which those students come with and how our students match up to that. The programme paired eight students from HSU, Arcata, California with eight students from LIC to work in two rural communities in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh — Tavelagarhi and Daula. Water issues are present not only in India but even in California where they and I come from,” says counsellor for cultural affairs in the US embassy, Conrad Turner.  Assistant Professor, Meenal Rana at HSU, says, “As far as community is concerned, we use different frameworks. One of our favourites is the systemic approach. Whenever anyone offered us lunch we would say yes, in order to bond with them and become  an insider, to know what issues related to water they faced.”

Security and medical issues were not a problem and the students adapted very quickly without much fuss. In one of the communities women usually don’t go out. Our role ranged from building empathy, and understanding between people, coming up with ideas, generating prototypes and then testing those in the community,” says Lonny Grafman. We can create technology but if there is no behavioural change, all our efforts go to waste. wholesale Rear Bumper Assembly Both community teams were divided to work on two different areas: product and engagement.A ten-week-long unique endeavour under the exchange programme, ‘Rural Youth Volunteers in India’ by Humboldt State University (HSU) and Lady Irwin College (LIC) took place in two villages of Uttar Pradesh with a focus on  water and waste management. The idea was to follow a social entrepreneurship model along with a wide set of other development frameworks.

The idea is to innovate within the community setting, using participatory methodologies where communities are so intensively engaged in planning, execution as well as evaluation,” she says. This was a great opportunity for me to know if I want to pursue that. The students interacted with a lot of community members to see what strengths they have. When I went out to see the project, the first thing I noticed was the hospitality. The enthusiasm of teachers, students, and  the community exceeded our expectations,” he signs off. Now, I want to do more of such work with communities. So our students went to their houses and it was interesting. I was working in engaging with the community by making all the communication tools like posters, skits, songs and games to engage with them whilst the product team was working on the products which were water storage containers and filters for them. You have strong institutions on both sides, strong education, an NGO component and all the support needed. Four pairs were placed in each community.

The programme design was quite good and carefully thought through. Engineering instructor, Humboldt State University. These products included safe water storage containers and many upcycled products from newspapers and polythene bags, newspaper pens, waste plastic tiles, plant pots and clipboards. “The US embassy approved of this as there was a strong mutual understanding between the American and Indian students. It is an global issue.“It addressed issues of waste management, water management and safe water.”Lorenz Hernandez, a student from HSU, says, “For me the experience was great because I want to help people.

While Ram Mandir could figure prominently in his speech, as it is one of the pending core issues of the Sangh, an appeal on twin issues — population explosion and environment protection — could also find a mention in his speech on Tuesday on the occasion of Vijayadashmi, which the Sangh also commemorates as its foundation day.

All eyes are on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat’s “Vijayadashmi speech” for his message to the cadre of the organisation and its affiliates, including the BJP, and also for the political undertones.” The PM has on various occasions appealed to the nation to put in effort for environment protection, including promotion of solar energy and disuse of single use plastic.

It could be mentioned here that the Prime Minister during his Independence Day speech this year had expressed concerns over population explosion and had said that it causes “new challenges for the coming generations.Industrialist and philanthropist Shiv Nadar is the chief guest for the event at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur..Mr Bhagwat could also reiterate on coordination between the Sangh and its affiliates, including the BJP, mention about the social causes that the Sangh and its affiliates have undertaken and their future plans and he could also restate how serving the people China Tray injection mold and not power should be the aim of the Sangh cadre.Mr Bhagwat’s speech could also see the Narendra Modi government getting appreciated for nullifying the contentious Article 370, another core agenda of the Sangh, the contemporary definition of “Akhand Bharat” and reiteration on inclusivity the “real meaning of Hindutva”.
